Whitehorse Churches Care partnered with members of Box Hill Police Station to provide care packs for people in the community isolated due to Covid-19, during the pandemic. Thanks to Community Connector Ian Bunston (Neighbourhoods Now) for facilitating this partnership and capturing these stories.
Donating Food Supplies
If you would like to donate food supplies, this is a suggested shopping list. Donations can be dropped at:
- One Church – Mondays 9.30am-12pm (184 Surrey Road, Blackburn).
- Stairway Church – Mondays-Thursdays 9am-5pm (171 Rooks Rd, Vermont)
- Crossway Baptist Church – Mondays-Fridays 9am-5pm (2 Vision Drive, Burwood East)
- NewHope Baptist Church – Mondays-Fridays 9am-4.30pm (into “blue bins” just inside the doors) (3 Springfield Rd, Blackburn North)
