Whitehorse Churches Prayer Week

13-17 May 2024, 7:30pm each night

Each year the Churches in the City of Whitehorse hold a week of prayer in the month of May. We gather from different traditions and denominations in five host churches on five successive nights to experience the richness of our diversity and the joy of our unity in Jesus. We pray with bold faith and every year we witness the tangible work of the Spirit through our churches as we gather.

Our theme this year is captured in Jesus’ words: “…that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you…so that they may be brought to complete unity” (John‬ ‭17:21, 23‬ ‭NIV‬‬)

There are five gatherings from 7:30pm to 8:30pm, held each night at the following churches:

Mon, 13th May – Bread of Life Church, 7/25 Chapman Street, Blackburn North

Tues, 14th May – Stairway Church, 171 Rooks Road, Vermont

Wed, 15th May – St Luke’s Anglican Church, 553 Mitcham Road, Vermont

Thu, 16th May – Whitehorse Uniting Church, 333A Canterbury Road, Forest Hill

Fri, 17th May – St Benedict’s Catholic Church, 283 Warrigal Road, Burwood

The Churches of Whitehorse will unite in prayer again for our annual week of Prayer Walking (14-20 October 2024) when hundreds of us take our prayers to the streets. Put the dates in your diary.
